¿Que sigifica Representante Acreditado del DOJ?


"Un representante (parcial o completo) acreditado por el Departamento de Justicia (DOJ) es una persona especialmente capacitada, que no es abogado, autorizada oficialmente por el Departamento de Justicia para asesorar y representar a clientes en asuntos de inmigración. Estos representantes trabajan para organizaciones sin fines de lucro y ayudan a personas con bajos recursos que no pueden pagar un abogado. Pueden asistir a clientes en la corte de inmigración y ante otras agencias de inmigración.

What is a DOJ- Accredited Representative?


A DOJ-(partial or fully) accredited representative is a specially trained person, not a lawyer, who is officially allowed to advise and represent clients by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to help people with immigration matters. These representatives work for non-profit organizations and help people with lower fees who can't afford a lawyer. They can assist clients in immigration court and with other immigration agencies."

¿Cual es la diferencia entre acreditación parcial y completa?

  • Representantes Acreditados Parcial: Estos representantes pueden ayudar con la preparación de formularios de inmigración, brindar asesoría legal y representar a clientes ante el DHS (Departamento de Seguridad Nacional). Sin embargo, su representación no se extiende a las cortes de inmigración ni a las apelaciones.
  • Representantes Acreditados Completos: Además de los servicios proporcionados por los representantes parcialmente acreditados, los representantes acreditados completamente pueden representar a clientes ante el DHS y el EOIR (la Corte de Inmigración y la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigración). What is the difference between partial and fully accredited representatives?.

  • Partially Accredited Representatives: Can help with paperwork, give advice, and represent you at some government agencies (like USCIS). But they can't represent you in immigration court.




  • Fully Accredited Representatives: Can do everything partially accredited reps can do, PLUS they can represent you in immigration court and help with appeals. They can handle more complicated cases, like if you're facing deportation.

¿Cuales on los costos de los servicios?


Una consulta general tiene costo de $50. Si contrata nuestros servicios, se aplica el costo a la gestión (no a los formularios de inmigración). Cada proceso tiene su costo individual. El costo es regulado al ser parte de una entidad aprobada y parte de OLAP (Oficina de Programas de Acceso Legal). USCIS tiene costo de formularios aparte. En ciertos casos se puede pedir reducción de costo si califica.


How much do services cost?


A general consultation costs $50. If you hire our services, this fee is applied to the case management (not the immigration forms). Each process has its individual cost. The cost is regulated as we are part of an approved entity and part of OLAP (Office of Legal Access Programs). USCIS has separate form fees. In certain cases, a fee reduction may be requested if you qualify.
